Gettin ready to mount the gas tank.
I glued a Hitec Reciever wrap to the back of the tank, applying glue to the tank, after roughing it up a little with med sandpaper.
Then I taped it to a piece of wood so that the foam would be flat against the fuselage.
Plus, I feared if I taped around the tank and foam, the foam would tear when removing the tape.....

I finished up the aileron linkage and slid the wings on and with the reciever hanging out I dialed in the ailerons.

I did not want to use a Li-Ion pack & regulator for the Rx & servos.
I generally use a NiMh 2700 mAh "A" 5 cell pack for this application, but the height is too tall to go in the wing compartment (behind the reciever).
I would have to do major chopping to get the pack in there, so while I was out today, I picked up a new 4/5 "A" 2150 mAh 5 cell pack.
The 4/5 is in height and the PERFECT size to snugly go in the fuse behind the RX.
