Cheapest Hitec Servos?

Okay I missed the big sale Servo city had on Hitec 5955's for 79 dollars. Does anybody know of anyone else selling them for close to that price?

Went to their website, and remembered why I have not ordered online from them before -- because you can't! I know, call them, toll free. I'm sorry, it is too easy to order from Troybuilt. 5955TG for $89 each.

I did manage to order some 5945MG servos from Servo City before they were out. All the other sale items were gone or back to regular pricing.

Thats true you can't order online. But, When you order they will ship that day even if its late in the day. Good old Fasion Customer Service.

TopRudder, Not trying to play the "My place is better than yours game" by anymeans because online ease is a TRUE calling card!

Truthfully there are only a handfull of these guys that deal at these low prices on a daily basis. I am thankfull for everyone of them that does it because it saves us dollars!

Hey, no problem, I did not mean for my post to come across that way. I've heard lots of good things about Don's Hobbys, and it is great that people are running the business that are closely involved with the hobby -- which he appears to be. I really wish I could purchase online there.

A lot of times when I realize I need to order something, it is after hours. I certainly would not expect anyone to answer the phone then! Last night (actually, this morning at 1:00am) I ordered eight HS65 servos from Central Hobbies. Wish I had realized I needed them earlier, Servo City had them priced a couple dollars cheaper each while they were on sale.

For some reason, the HS65 is the only Hitec servo they carry, but they have the lowest REGULAR price I have seen anywhere. $19.99.

They don't have the best website in the world (slow, inconsistent links, can't find everything they carry, etc) but they ship fast and have excellent service.

This online stuff would be a non-issue for me if I had an LHS that carried decent inventory. We can't seem to convince them to carry anything more than what they have. They MIGHT have two of the HS65 in stock, and certainly don't carry the 5955 or any of the large scale stuff. I think the largest prop they have is 18 inches. They might carry 10 sizes of electric props. And sometimes they have 15% fuel and 4/40 blind nuts! No one in the shop flies, but they are sure are into gaming.
