Tonight I got a chance to work on it some. I installed in the wings the metal dowls and also strap down the matchbox inside the wings. I also ran some wire in the fuse. I am going to strap everything down solid after I get everything installed. But in the pictures you will see how everything is. Again it is VERY nice not havin the foam there.

Sorry for not updating. We are slowing down. We are waiting for a few things to come. Today I just order cans and a three blade prop for it. We finally got the wings and elevators hinged.

Ditch the matchbox go with the Power Expander from Smart Fly and while your there get a different regulator the Super Reg from Smart Fly will run those batteries no problem. That's the one I have in my Sukhio and that's only 50cc. Other than that the hinges. I don't like Ca hinges especially in something larger than 180. Unless your using something a little more conventional. Or are they not Ca hinges.

If he will give me the money I would!!! I have two fromeco 2600 with one smart-fly regulator and one MPI regulator plug into the rx. The matchmoxes are great because I already have them!!! Sorry but this is how I set up my 33% planes. The less electronics the less chance of a failure!!!

No you should ditch everything! Get a new motor. Even get a new airframe. Wildhares are better.

RCFLYER,
Are you using a DA or another kind of engine? All you have to do is install the top of the engine box and you should be all sealed up, unless your using a rear induction engine. The only holes I have in my engine box are for the fuel line and ignition lead and they both have rubber gromets which seal the opening anyway.

mxcop, its going to be a DA100. You're right, there shouldn't be any issue as it is not a rear induction engine. Thanks for clearing that up

Kevin did you see my finished weight was 27lbs.. Not to bad considering I'm using the power box and cans. I can't wait to see how you like the plane, I have 6 flights on mine and I have no complaints.

mxcop, where did you put your ignition batteries? How does your plane balance with the DA100? Looks like you're using the jtec wire clamps, but where did you get the grommets from? Thanks
