That sweet. Cant wait to test fly mine. Should be able to test fly it next weekend. I am waiting for canisters and servos to come in. We will probably mount the engine tomorrow. Will let you know how mine comes out and how much it weighs. My 3w is a older 3w so it might weigh more.

My power box batteries are at the rear half of the cannister box and the ignition battery is mounted just in front of the tank over the gear. It is just slightly nose heavy at 8 1/2" from the trailing adge of the wing tip. It flies very neutral and requires very little push when inverted. Flatens out very well in flat spins also. I got the grommets at Home Depot.

mxcop, thanks for the pic. Very clean setup. Can you post a pic of your powerbox/Rx setup? BTW, where's a good and cheap place to get velcro straps?

Default QQ Yak 102" GIII

Are the standoffs the ones you get when the DA is ordered with the plane?
If so, do you just bolt them on and forget about it?

Guess what I'm getting at is, are the up/down and right thrust "spot on" when you just bolt the standoffs to the firewall?

I would like to know what the recommended up/down and right are?
Didn't look real hard at the manual yet. maybe it's in there.

Anyone know if the stab and wing are 0/0?

Take Care
Bob

There is no sense to use a smart-fly reg and power expander for this plane. 40% yes I will use one. But not for this size nor a 50cc size plane.

I already have the matchboxes so there is no reason to spend more money for a power box or expander.

Kevin I got the clamps form JTEC.
Bob the standoffs are the ones you get with the combo and all you have to do is bolt on and it's good. No down line mix and good straight up lines.
The only mix I have is 3 to 4% rudder to up elevator for knife edge, it flies perfect with just rudder now, no other imputs neede in knife edge. I did notice a very slight roll couple during a tight knife edge loop but havn't touched any mix for that yet.
