It's called spiral wrap. Vic is right - Radio Shack is the easiest place to find it.

The power expander that this wrap kid is talking about might be the EQ10, which basically has the exact same thing as a matchbox in it, so he would still be using those matching thingies...

I think he's referring to the Expander Sport. Why would somebody need an EQ10 on a 50cc plane? or even a Power Expander at that....

Probably just for my freestyle for now. If I like it when I fly it for imac I might fly it for the precision to. Not sure yet. I will most likely stick with the 260 for precision because I have been working with it trimming it out and putting mixing in it and I have got it flying a lot better now. Still could use a lot of work but it is better than what it was.

Already had matchboxes anyway so no money wasted To me they make the airplane look neater inside. Plus they are easy to program.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with using matchboxes, in fact many of the top pilots in the world use them. Maybe someone should start a thread about matchboxes vs. power expanders/boxes since this thread is about the Gen III Yak.

Yes they use them cause most of the time they dont pay for them. Why even pay for them when they are not needed.
