well in my situation they are. I plan to run one matchbox in each wing which allows only one wire to connect at the field and less wiring in the airplane. I am also using one for the rudder. The two elevators will be plug directly in the rx and program through the radio. Now I already had these. I only had to buy one more for my other wing cause in the sukhoi I just ran one. I just dont like messing with a power expander or something similar in this size airplane when I already have what I need for it. I still have matchboxes in my 260 plug into a smart-fly powerexpander because running three servos per wing is a lot of wires to come through the fuse with no matchboxes plus it is easier to program.

I use a Y connector on each elevator and wing half with only one wire coming out of each wing. Match up the servos mechanically and your done with it. This is how I setup my 40%er on all 11 of my 8611's. They dont pull extra power at all.

Will have tons of pics tonight of the progress. Got slowed down because the headers we got did not work right with this plane. So I have some others coming in priority mail. Hopefully she will fly this weekend. The rest of my servos and all the control arms should be in tomorrow. So I should start programming tomorrow. Right now the wheelpants are being installed and the rudder should be glued in tonight.

Hopefully tomorrow the rest of the stuff will come in so I can begin to program the plane. We should have everything close to being done tomorrow or Thursday. Only thing holding back from flying on Saturday is the headers. I am waiting for some flex headers for my canisters. Hopefully we can get it going Sat. or Sun. Trying not to rush it!!!!

To tie a string to, tie the other end to the clip. Keeps them together, thats the idea anyway.

Those o-rings slide over the anti rotation pins in the wings then you put on the washer and insert the coter pin in the anti rotation pin.

I think you could slide them on after the washers, they help prevent the canopy bolts from backing out during flight. Thats my guess, I used bonded washers instead. For some reason I think I remember in the past there was a brass tube that you inserted the bolt into and the o-ring kept the bolt from falling out when removing the canopy.

Do the o-rings go between the bolt head and fuse, or between the fuse and canopy tab?

I'm not 100% sure if I'm correct about the o-rings, If I was to use them I would put the washer on the bolt, then the o-ring. The best thing to do is call QQ aircraft or post on the QQ support forum about it.

Tonight we got all the servos installed including the rudder servos. We got the rudder put on also. The aileron and rudder servos are program!!! I am waiting for two more servo arms to come in to program the elevators. We had problems at first with the pull pull cables. This was the first time for us to set something like this up. The wire kept ripping out then I notice I was giving it over 7 inches of throw for the rudder and it was yanking it out. I am giving it 5 inch max and I have work it back and forth to death and so far they are holding up. Will make sure I check them before each flight for the first couple of times.

WARNING!!!!!!!! PLEASE READ IF YOU HAVE THIS PLANE. Just to be safe check ALL Servo trays in wings and elevators. One of my aileron tray they didnt double the wood on one side and after screwing down the servo and programming it that wood broke due to it was not thick enough. I also notice they used I am guessing Hot glue to glue those in. That is one thing I like about kits over arfs. We dont use hotglue to put an airplane together with. So far this is the only mess up we came across on. I really wish though they would have taken the time and made a manual for this airplane and not send out the G2 one. There is not much difference but still.
