Ive flown the 35 % yak and love it .My 260 35% will be done next friday and I can let you know a side by side comparison. Ive also flown the 30% sd260 and 30% sd Yak I liked the yak better even though it was heavier, neither plane compared to my Airwild 30% 260 that wieghs 14.4 Lbs. For I-mac I perfer the heavier Yak

i have both - the yak is a floater and superior in 3d - the extra is sleek and super accurate
i think the yak wins(37.5) - my opinion only |

I to have both, the SD 35% 260 and the SD Yak's.The Extra is by far a cleaner, more perciece flying machine, while the Yak's are a better 3d and all around flier. What kind of flying are you most concerned with?I prefer the Yak's (I have the 33%,35%,and37.5%),but my son prefers the Extra.

I like to do 3d IMAC is not very popular around here but I would like to change that if I could. I have just started working on the basic and will probably never compete just to have fun. I know the wind seems to blow alot around here. Cheif is selling the 260 for 459 shipped sounds like a killer deal..

You will be happy with either one i crashed my yak about a week ago and I just got the 260 it came out about 2 pounds lighter than the yak and it flys really good, they are 2 differents planes but both do really well in 3D.

whooosh - i have a double vision and it is and will always be one of my very favorite planes - it is a 3d monster but very different to a sd extra or even the yak - i love flying it hard and because its so different it always stands out - great slow flying and right now a great deal from chief's
