Default H9 or WH

Hi Guys,
I am about to purchase my first gasser. I will be installing a DA 50.
I will primarily be flying it for IMAC, but want some 3D. I have been looking at the
Wild Hare 28% Edge 540T V2, and the H9 27% 260 and cannot decide. I was looking for some advice on which one, as far as ease of build( I know, they are ARF's), quality of hardware etc. I am not trying to start a product war here, just get some feedback from those of you that have had experience with these two planes.

THANKS,
James

I think that WildHare's Extra 300 would be a good choice for you. I had one of WH's early Edges and it was a good flying plane, but I think that the new 300 would be a really good choice for you if you do want to dabble in IMAC with it. I haven't flown one of the H9 260's, but I have heard from people that have that they are borderline on wingloading because they are a little bit smaller(are they 78" versus the 84" of the WH?). I've heard that they DO fly awesome on the big saito engines though.

I know of a few H9's that have fluttered to death with a 50cc and stock hardware

The WH Extra will perform better IMAC than the WH edge, The edge will be better at 3D

the H9 is too small. you want light wingloading and good power-to-weight. Sure, the H9 is only 14.5 pounds or so with the DA, but it only has 1150 squares. Go with the WH 300, IMO.

Didn't Tom redesign the edges? I had one out of the second batch. I think the newer ones are lighter.

Skip the H9, it's too small for gas. Great airplane, just not in this application.
