This is probably a dumb question but here goes...
I have been out the hobby for a couple years and have a 9C. It has some problems and I have lost 3 planes before I took a break and now today another one. I am looking at the JR 9303 but I am having a brain fart...Will my futaba RX's work with a JR TX??? Right now I am only flying small planes and don;t know if I will return to the giant scale or not but I want to get a TX that will allow it if I do get back into it it full swing. Thanks Guys |

HMMMM thats what I was afraid of. What about small RX's like Hitec electron 6? Surely they work with JR right?

Futaba and JR are a different "shift" and the RX's are not compatible. As for your 9c, why not just send it to Futaba for a check up? To me, it's a bit silly to buy a different, more expensive radio, with basically the identical functionality AND have to by all new, generally more expensive RX's as well. All for the sake of what? The grass is always greener....

I was referring to the 9303 being more expensive. |

Not sure about Futaba and JR rx's but most of hitec's new recievers are switch selectable and you can select positive or negative by simply removing a little jumper.

Correction, there are only two rx's that will work with both shifts.
http://servocity.com/html/fusion_9_fm_rx.html http://servocity.com/html/supreme_7_fm_rx.html The seven channel one is the one with the jumper, while the 9 channel one looks as though it will switch automaticly. |
