Hey Folks,

One of our Piedmont Aeromodelers club members, Jim Thornton, had his airplane trailer stolen this week right out of his yard with airplanes inside. Be on the lookout for a green giant J3 club, wings from a yellow Bryon AT6, a kantana body, and several radio's. The trailer was 16 x 10, white, with fold down rear door, small vent on side opposite side door, no roof vent. I don't have any other details at this point. Both planes flew at out war bird event.

Thanks for keeping an eye out for anything suspicious.

Benson, you may need to edit the soundtrack just a bit, but that's Hall of Fame right there!

Sorry to hear about this. Kent Porter mentioned it to us at Roanoke Rapids. We'll keep an eye out for sure!

The RDRC Travelling Circus rolled up I-95 and into Roanoke Rapids, NC on a dreary Saturday morning (I obviously had the Durango on the rumble strips when Jaybird shot the only road pic!) for another day of flying and fellowship. Jeff, Alan, David, and all the rest of the 95th Squadron had the field looking good and put on a real nice event. And, of course, we tried to max out the FUN-O-METER again!

I'll start by documenting several cameras in action so I know Jay and I are not going to be the only one posting pics or video, right Shannon, Jacqui, Larry, Brandon, and Chris?

When we got there, we arrived with a well-choreographed entrance road vehicle "serpantine" dance. We practiced that for.............. about a millisecond.....

AArthur was glad to see us and CD Jeff Foley told us where to go...nah! We spilled out our trailer loads of stuff, had a pilots meeting and got on with the flying and fun!
