Yeah, I was proud of you ! Nearly had to go back home to change when I pulled in and your van was there !

BTW, been scanning the video from today, very cool to be able to watch the crowd and see everyone check out the planes, especially the kids.

Thanks for the pics, Kirby. I was wondering how things were going in Kinston. It looks like everyone was having a bunch of fun. We wish we were there but, yeah, the FFT promotion was pretty important. And things went very well at North Hills Mall in Raleighwood!

Actually, he brought TWO VJ planes. The big one, and my Vapor. If I had been thinking, I would have had them sign mine, too!!

Great job and my hats off to Jason Jarvis for setting up the North Hills RC Extravaganza. I think we ALL did a great job getting the word out about our wonderful hobby and FFT.

Absolutely! Thanks, Jason!!!

I've been involved with several mall shows through the years, but I have to say that the North Hills people were the best to work with I've ever seen. They had everything we needed, including an empty store front to roll the planes into when it started raining. They were quick to help whenever we needed something. AND, they want us back again before the year is over!

Yup, and it was good to see the Promotion people there for most of the time we were about!! They are really interested in us going back for more later in the year!! I was wondering about getting a tent there once a month to promote the hobby and the local clubs??? Jason.... what do you think???

For those of us who were working, it was great to be able to peep in on the action via the video feed Chris had set up. We had a monitor set up in the hobby shop on full screen video, and people who came in could see it as well. We'll probably do this full time, once the feed is up at the field.

From what we could see, it looked like ya'll had a huge amount of interest from the public, and the kids were really digging the show!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kudos, but like you saw, North Hills is AMAZING to work with, all I did is ask and do some leg work. I've already heard several people mention it, but let's be sure to keep them in mind for all our shopping needs !

I also told them that any promotional signs, banners or other material that they would like for us to display at the field during FFT would be welcome.

I think it went great, nice weather a little longer would have been even better, but hey, it was a good day ! Thanks to everyone who took time to engage the public, I know we will see some now familiar faces at FFT !
