I need some info on a turbine engine. i have found someone who wants to trade me a ram 750plus with all startup equipment(air-start) for a H9 P-47 1.50 RTF. I know nothing about turbines but I am getting ready to buy a Boomerang Sprint and was wondering if this would be worth it, and I know a few of you on here have turbines that can maybe help me out. The guy who has the engine said he purchased it from Jeff Foley and has not used it since. i have some pics i will post a little later. thank's

The weather forecast looks great for this weekends show at Bealeton, Va.
Josh and I are heading out from his house at 5:30 Saturday morning and returning on Sunday evening after watching the full scale airshow. Anybody that wants to tag along would be welcome. Andy Kane is the CD for this event and he will be coming down here next weekend to support Fly for Tots.
For those not familiar with this event it is a RC show held at The Flying Circus Aerodrome airfield. Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 1 is only RC then the full scale airshow starts with wingwalking, barnstorming and all kinds of other stuff with Stearman's and Waco's
Here is the site for the host club DCRC: http://www.dc-rc.org/
and here is the website for the full scale stuff: http://www.flyingcircusairshow.com/
AND there is a real airshow at the Warrenton-Faquier County Airport that is about 5 miles away, a few years ago a real Corsair and P51 flew over the RC show on the way to land at the full scale show.

I was really trying to justify joining you guys, Wes & Josh. But there is just too much to do this weekend in preparation for FFT so I must begrudingly stay put. You guys have fun!

Oh yeah, tell Andy Kane to make sure he brings his C-47 to FFT in addition to his big Cub. We need cool warbirds and that is certainly a one that the crowd would appreciate!
