Deer snarls downtown Raleigh traffic

Posted: Today at 10:14 a.m.
Raleigh, N.C. — A deer jumped off a downtown parking deck into rush-hour traffic shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday, police said.
The deer died on impact with the pavement near the intersection of McDowell and Martin streets, police said.
No vehicles or pedestrians were injured in the incident. Police were able to remove the deer's carcass and get traffic moving again by 7:45 a.m.

Are any of you who are self employed or work for small business in a service industry (food, vehicle repair, maintenance, etc) gonna take off next week? With the NC State Fair hauling millions of $$$ out of the state, many will be twiddling thumbs with little to do. I swear, the news media makes it out to be the best thing since sliced bread...they need to interview local business to show the impact on NC small business during their heist of the millions of $$$ from our local economy. I know many small business owners who dread this time of year.

Weather looking MUCH better now. Looks like Josh will FINALLY get a break

I got the candy dropper all repaired. ( Motor quite in a torgue roll!) and all our stuff is on charge.
Friday work crew should get everything set up.
Mike H, I'll be out there Friday around lunch to help out.
Looks like we're going to have a good weekend after all.

We'll do it, Do-Rag! The circus is the first to arrive and the last to leave....even at our own field!

It's time for some more fun.
