Any pics from today? I saw a crowd out there in the cams today, when I peeked in from work.

Thats because Ken is so photogenic!
Those are beautiful planes. Great lines, and I love the way the landing gear enters the fuse. That will be a popular plane with modelers for a long time.

Looks like the rain will be holding off for a while longer. I just hitched the trailer up, and we're headed out to get in some flights real soon. Yesterday was cut very short for me because my sweet heart gave me the dreaded cell phone call. " Honey,,,,,, my truck is broke down in the parking lot!" Thankfully I was able to get the parts before they closed the parts counter. Spent this morning fix'n the truck and she's all ready for the road again. Heck, I even did an oil service while I was at it. Reckon it'll get me some brownie points with the Mrs. ??? lol

LOLOLOL
Actually, she DID find it last Sunday. We stopped by to say Hi to everyone when returning from a motorcycle ride. We hadne been there 5 minutes when I realized Jacqui was gone. I looked out over the field, and there she was. Wayyyyy out there! 5 minutes later, she's holding her arms in the air waving! Now she'll be able to sleep at night! LOL

We had a bunch of fun at RDRC yesterday, but it was a bad day for FOAM! First, I knocked the motor off my Urge for the second day in a row. Larry was not to be outdone. Pic one shows that he decided to do the same for everything he had in the trailer!

And then he got out his "B-28" (battle version) with a 3-bladed prop (pic 2) and did a strafing low inverted pass that didn't work out so well, either. Pic 3 shows what was there we we got to it. Notice Dave pointing to something on the runway. It's one of the prop blades that literally got stuck in a crack on the way by (pic 4)! This really happened during the inverted landing (we need to fix those cracks, huh?)!! And pic 5 shows the asphault on the pilot helmet, ouch!

Finally, Josh got out his foam stuff. Pic 6 shows that he treated his foamy Yak nice. But pics 7-8 show that he joined in the trend of the day with his flying wing. It didn't ever make it past the hand launch. POW!

I'd say we laughed just a little!

I took a few more pics too:

1 - Mark is the proud owner of a new trailer. Now you are part of the "trailer park" at RDRC! Congrats.

2 - Randy had is trailer nicely packaged and had the heater going for those who may have been a little too cool. I call it his "living room". His new Edge foamy is in the foreground. It flies nice.

3 - Dave is getting in one last flight before the daylight fully dissolves. He brought about 40 planes in his sedan!

4 - Cleveland caught this rare "APC prop fish" at the nearby pond. Wow Cleve, I need to buy stock in APC.

5 - And here's Bill packing up his beautiful, new composite "Reaction" jet after we performed a successful test flight on it. It flies as nice as it looks. And it fits in his Toyota sedan! You'll have your AMA turbine waiver soon with that jet, Bill.
