Happy Thanksgiving to all! Debbie & I just returned from my mom and dad's. It was a very nice day with my family. Got to do more of that!

Hope ya'll had a great Thanksgiving.... here's a few shots of Mr. Vess's new 3D full on HUCKER for 2010.

It is a 3D Hobby Shop Extra SHP 50cc. DA50, MTW tuned pipe RE2, Duralite A123's, and Spektrum 9100 reciever and the new Spektrum A6030 digitials for all surfaces and the proven JR4721 on throttle. The rudder servo is set up as pull pull in stock forum, but we're going to put the servo in the tail just incase he decides to do a few 80 GRIT PASSES!

Here's some shots of the RE2 install... some modding was required to get the RE2 in the fuse... but nothing a little cutting couldn't fix.

I'm really impressed with this plane. It is extremely light, well thought out and includes everything! Wing & Stab bags, CF main gear with wheels & axles, CF tail wheel assembly, pull pull hardware, all links and horns, fuel tank with tygon tubing, and it even includes all the velcro needed to install the reciever and batteries. I was so impressed that I ordered the 51" Slick from them after I started working on Rober's SHP!

Here's a shot of of the tail wheel assembly.

The weather report on TV said tomorrow would most likely be the best RC Airplane flying day on record, and that we'd better take advantage of it :-)

I'll be there. And I got the 747 flying good now with a regular radio in it. I flew 3-4 flights with it yesterday and it's working great! The flight with a bunch of T-28s was a hoot!

See you guys there.

Wow! It was another beautiful North Carolina day Sunday and the RDRC membership was out in force. Here's a few pics I managed to get during a busy day of flying. What a great club!

BTW - Sorry to see your Yak go down, Wes.....

Hey Matt,

The Extra is looking great! The batteries should be there today. Hopefully, this thing will be ready to go soon. I really look forward to flying it.
