Thats pretty cool!

WOW!! Yesterday was great at RDRC. Big turn out, and a lot of action. Robert and I were getting our fun fly planes ready for the New Years Day event, and Mr. Fillmore was busy getting his turbine waiver signed off. His new Reaction Jet was just the ticket for getting him use to jets.

Not quite sure who will be conducting the Fun Fly event yet. Dave H. says he has a really full schedule, and not sure he'll even make it out this year. Soooooooooo,,,,,,,,,,,,,,if anyone feels like taking on the challenge, please step forward! Even if we dont have a compitition, we still need to be out there Jan 1st! It would be nice if we did a covered dish or perhaps cook on the grill.
Someone speak up!! It would be a shame to let a tradition fall to the side.

Hey everyone. I'm back! At least for now.
Just thought I'd show all of you what happens when you mix a fun bunch of guys with a little alcohol! Only the Traveling Circus could pull this off!!! With the economy being so bad, they all decided to moonlight to earn gas money for the 2010 flying season. If you ask me, they better start mowing lawns or something. Well,,,,,,,,, everyone but Santa that is!!!

Actually, my daughter put this video together late last night. We all laughed so hard I think all our neighbors woke up! Hope you enjoy it.

Hey Larry,

The R/C flying Santa is available at your nearest Hallmark store for ~ $15.00. It's called "Toymaker Santa".
We still had some at our local store yesterday if you can't find any around there.
Everybody needs at least one on their tree.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!
Thanks David,
Actually, I went to the Halmark store ealy this morning and grabbed one up, The Halmark in Knightdale had plenty of them ( if anyone else is looking).
I was just about ready to hang him in the tree when it hit me!!! Poor ole Santa didnt even have the latest in technology!!!
When I looked a little closer, I could see he had a 72 mhz radio in his hands!! NO PROBLEM FOLKS!!! I quick call to Horizon Hobby and they had a new 2.4 12X sent 3 hour delivery!
As you can see, Santa was reeeeeeeal happy! That fat little dude has been flying all afternoon now.

Bring the trailers, for sure, Larry! The field has been redone, the paved runway is gone, but the grass runway has been extended, and is nothing but Bermuda....Came out really nice.

Lets just hope for dry weather so we can have a BALL!!!

All that matters is what YOU like, Jon. They both look cool, though.

Larry, since there has been no plan for the RDRC New Year's Fun Fly this year, let's just fly informally this year. And we'll load up to go to Nelson's event the next day (Jan. 2). How does that sound?
