Just thought I'd show all of you what happens when you mix a fun bunch of guys with a little alcohol! Only the Traveling Circus could pull this off!!! With the economy being so bad, they all decided to moonlight to earn gas money for the 2010 flying season. If you ask me, they better start mowing lawns or something. Well,,,,,,,,, everyone but Santa that is!!!

Actually, my daughter put this video together late last night. We all laughed so hard I think all our neighbors woke up! Hope you enjoy it.

You know, I don't get into watching guys dance...but that was funny. We better not quit our day jobs.

As you can see, Santa was reeeeeeeal happy! That fat little dude has been flying all afternoon now.
Larry, you got Santa fixed up with the latest equipment. I bought one, too, but he's still on 72mhz!

Might take him a while to respond to that. I suspect he is still watching the RDRC Chippendale video - over and over and over....

Since no one else has posted it, I found the video. Not quite as impressive as I thought it would be, but still pretty neat. Does a good trash can lid spin.

Hey folks.
Just wanted to give an update to all those getting in on the club racing. Dave Hockaday tells me the planes should be here any day now. I think we have 13 confirmed racers on the list, and Dave says they ordered a few extras for those wishing they HAD ordered one! Keep checking with East RC to see if your plane has come in.
My reason for sending this out is in reference to the Thunder Tiger Pro 40 ABN motors some of us have got on the list for.. As many of you know, the motors were on back order from every distributor in the country! After several calls, Dave and East RC had put in an order with Hobby Lobby, who at the time offered the lowest price. They were advertising $76 while everyone else was $89.
To make a long story short, a couple of the distributors did get them in stock. Tower Hobbies, and Hobby Lobby. Problem is,,,,,,, once Hobby Lobby got them in stock, they decided they should be charging $99 instead of $76! So,,,, I'm looking at Tower Hobbies web-site and noticed they had DROPPED their price! They now have it for $84. I called Dave and let him know about the increase by HL, and decrease by TH. Dave contacted TH to see about getting a dealer discount but TH tells him they cant offer a discount on this particular item. So here is the deal. If you did want to run the Thunder Tiger Pro 40 ABN ( like most of us) you'll need to order it yourself from Tower Hobbies. Here's the part number and price.
I would order it now while still have them in stock. Be sure and look at any discounts they offer for spending certain amounts. I saved an additional $15 for buying two engines. Hopefully the planes will be here this week, and many of us can be racing by next weekend.

Here is the Tower Hobby link http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXKF96&P=ML
