With Jan. 15 temps near 60 degrees, a bunch of RDRC members had the same idea....go flying!

It looked like a fly-in out there and the skies were crowded all day. Here are some pics I took in the early afternoon before my camera batteries went south.

Nice Pics Robert!

WOW!!! Talk about a GREAT day at the field. Liek Vess was saying, it looked more liek a sanctioned event was going on. I think the RDRC Spring Fling went down a little early this year!
I actually dragged the ole Python out of the trailer for the first time in several months.
Robert got in teh test flights with his new 3D toy. Flew great by the way!
We saw just about every example of aircraft flown yesterday. Electric to Heli's, to turbines. Seemed out of place to see members walking around in short sleeves or T-Shirts. ( well,,,,I guess we see that with Jason Jarvis year round!)
Awesome day at RDRC. And guess what??? We're headed back out today to continue with teh fun. Yes,,,,,, I have lots I need to do around the house,,,,,but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Oh oh oh,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Funny moment yesterday. Well,,, more like the Quote of the year. Yesterday John Keisler asked to borrow a set of foamy templates from me so he and Ken could build one of Roberts designs. The "really Wild Cat". Anyway,,,John himself made the comment. ""You KNOW the economy has gone to $##* when a Kiesler is building a foamy!!!!!""
Now THATS funny!!!

DAY TWO at RDRC.
It was totally AMAZING!! Light winds right down the runway. Warm, and partly sunny. And the turn out was HUGE! It really looked like a fly in folks! I knmow Dave Langridge had his camera pointed at stuff all day. Maybe he'll get a few posted in teh next day or two.
How bout it Dave???
Lots of jet fuel burned today, and the skies stayed full all day with every flight station manned most of the day. Sure glad I didnt stay home and work on the house! lol I have a feeling Monday will be another good day at RDRC if the rain moves through fast enough.

After flying all day with our buds, several of us went out to dinner together at Ragazzi's. Man,,,,,,,,,, we have a such a great club. I aint EVER leave'n ! lol

Nice shots, Dave!

Yep, it was another fun day at the field. We needed air traffic control to keep all the traffic in order!

Monday, hmmmmm......
