Far From It!!!
From what I saw, most of us did very well. Higherst numbers in attendance Ive seen in a long time. Every table full, and money flkying everywhere. Best of all, a lot of it was flying into MY POCKET!!! lololol As usual, I was selling for pennies on the dollar, but oh well. I only brought back one airplane, and that was an original "Dura Plane", still new in teh box. Couldnt even get $15 for it!

I know Mark Lofgren did well, Robert and Josh said they had a good day also.

Oh,,, I even made a purchase this year!!! A guy a few tables over had a new in box Thunder Tiger 40 pro engine!!! I figured,,,,,,,if having TWO race engines was good,,,,THREE would GREAT!!

Guys,

BARKS Swap meet was business as usual! There was a big crowd and lots of junk sold. RDRC had tables that stretched all the way down the left wall and we sold a bunch of stuff. I think most were pretty happy with their sales and some even picked up some bargins. Sorry, but I didn't take any pics inside during the event.

A couple of funny notes:

After all the recent rain, several of us managed to have run-ins with the muddy parking lot. Larry had to work hard to get Jacqui's Suburban free after he drove it in deep and Jeff Foley was unfortunately parked too close to a stuck party that plastered his "Burb" (see pic).

A bunch of us joined several guys from the Rocky Mt. club and and AL, Kevin, and Gerry from JTEC/Radiowave for dinner after the event at Sagebrush Steakhouse (see second poor pic - Sorry!). As you can imagine, lies and jokes were flowing better than the iced tea!

It was a fun day and we missed the rest of you (Do-rag and 50%).

Larry and Josh are over at the shop today. As Larry said above, he's putting together the first Skyraider Mach II that we're going to race. He's going to post a bunch of pics descibing that process soon.

Josh brought something cool to show us, his new Micro 4-sight ARF. That thing is really well engineered and you know a few of us a going to need one! He's flown it once and likes the way it flies. Cool!

Im getting ready to go fly my 4 site in a gym at the church down the road, all 5 flights so far have been outside in a breeze so I am looking forward to "calm" conditions to try it in.
