Pic of the radio compartment. I used a Velcro strap to hold the battery and foam inside. Dont want any stuff flying loose at Pylon #2 !

Note the servo set up for the throttle. Easy as it gets!

Here is a pic of that new receiver I spoke of earlier. This is the new AR500 by Spektrum. Something you may notice is, there is no satelite receiver. Instead, it used one short ant wire, and one long. This is a neat little reciver folks. Its full range, 5 channel, very affordable (around $55), has TWO aileron channels, offers Fail Safe, and its really compact in size. I'll tell you more about it later.

Last pic for the night. Here I had to make a small cut out in teh fuse side to allow the needle valve to clear. Took about 5 minutes, and I used the extra covering Stegall Hobbies supplies to re-cover the bare area.

Only thing left to do is break the engine in. I have one more photo shoot to do for you folks. If any of you read the attachment Joe Rafalowski post, you know there's a few legal and simple carb mods you can make to your Thunder Tiger carb. No,,,nothing "Top Secrete", and verrrrry simple steps anyone can make. Its not so much a gain in performance youre after, but reliability. I'll take pics of the process and post for all to see. Also, I plan to break the engine per the instructions in taht attachment. Until then,,,,,,Get Those Raiders Built!!!

Its typical ARF hardware, except the fuel tank stopper was much better than a lot Ive seen. I used all of the stock stuff to show everyone it works. As the pics show, I chose to put Z-Bends at the servo's instead of the 90 deg clips. Control horns are nice. I started to use ball links but went with the provided stuff instead. Besides, the rods are metric and wont fit most ball links. SHouldnt be any problems at all using all the stock stuff.
You still dont have yours yet?
