Josh...what plans did you use? I have a Phlatprinter, but would love to add a CNC hotwire to the shop for 'foiled wings...

Oh..and Robert....you wont find one of those funny looking props on the front of my 260.....Mine have this cool blue logo on them!

But at least it's all done now.

I also balanced and mounted the prop/spinner. As you can see from the photo, there's something on the front that I haven't used in years. Let's just say that, to do props for IMAC, I need to understand what they are using now. It will be the "baseline" prop that I compare mine to. Man, it's odd to bolt a "non-Vess" on there......and expensive.....
SWEET Robert! I know how hard it must be to do that... but it will be good to see what VESS IMAC stuff you come up with!

We need to get together and do some pratice!

I am 75% complete on my Mach II build. I got too cold in the garage even with a propane heater blasting 3 feet from me. The assembly is easy with no surprises except that a new JR821 (with the orange label) is too deep for its provided location in the wing. Fortunately, I have an older 821 that is not as deep and fits. I didn't want to install additional shims to the servo other than using the small shim provided for the aft end of the servo. Has anyone else had this problem?

I just shimmed it. There's plenty of room in the fuse.

I had all new 821s. I added the shims AND cut out some of the root rib section.
Had I know this before hand, I would have made the cuts before joining the wing sections. Tiny little issue either way.

Im striking out on finding it locally. Drug stores carry very small bottles at hefty prices! Looks like some health nutrition stores carry it also.
SOMEONE in the Raleigh area HAS to have some big bottls on the shelf!

Larry,
I have a gallon on hold at KC Hobby. I just have to arrange to have it picked up. It will cost $15.00 or more to ship it.

Guys, I am in Durham and work the High Point area and would be happy to pick the Castor oil up to save you the shipping. Know Kirby and the guys quite well. Let me know if I can help. John

John, that would be great but I wouldn't want you to make the detour just to pickup the castor.
