I did a little more on the Extra today. IMAC rules require that you have a pilot and an instrument panel so that the planes resemble their full-scale counterparts. I just so happened to have these items from Extreme Flight and got them installed. The stock pilot actually matches the color scheme!

I'm running out of stuff to do on this plane and can't wait to fly it again. Someone get this weather straightened out.

I've been out in my shop working for the last couple hours and every time I reach for my x-acto knife I picture Larry's finger......... now I'm scared to use it.

Well, look what 'ole Robert found in his "shed" this evening. I thought I had stored some in there a while back. It's a pint so it will only make one gallon of break-in fuel. But, as you can see, SIG sells it. I won this one at an event but the sticker on it had $4.95 from Hobby Masters.

Im striking out on finding it locally. Drug stores carry very small bottles at hefty prices! Looks like some health nutrition stores carry it also.
SOMEONE in the Raleigh area HAS to have some big bottls on the shelf!

Larry,
I have a gallon on hold at KC Hobby. I just have to arrange to have it picked up. It will cost $15.00 or more to ship it.

Guys, I am in Durham and work the High Point area and would be happy to pick the Castor oil up to save you the shipping. Know Kirby and the guys quite well. Let me know if I can help. John
Where in Durham are you? My office is on Guess Rd. north of I-85. Maybe we could meet at lunch or something. I'll pay you for your trouble dude.

F.Y.I. I have the Castor on hold. If I can't find someone that could pick it up then I was going to make the trip one day this week.

Kirby, I've never seen nor heard of that. When do you see that?

The only thing I can think of would relate to the little lithium battery that most TX's have to protect the programs if/when you remove the TX battery. It can possibly be suggesting that the battery is dead and thus you have no power backup. That's only a wild guess on my part, though.

My suggestion would be to call Horizon Service tomorrow and ask them.
