I've been progressing through the construction of a bunch of Solidworks component solid models for use in a work project I have and here's my latest effort. It's the Jetcat trubine ECU. This model is significant because I was able to learn how to take a picture of the real label and "map" it onto the CAD model.

Now I wonder if I can design paint schemes this way? Hmmm.....

I forgot to mention behind the church there is a large open field that is perfect for night flyer foamies. There are a handful of our guys that have put lights on the t28's and we will fly a mass gaggle in the dark ..... I am personally looking forward to seeing this ....heck it will be worth the trip to come just to see that.

It off to the shop fella's. Might be snowing right now, but I have an appointment with a TT 40 on the test stand. Might be cool to see that prop blowing snow around!

Yup,
I replaced the barrel spring with fuel tubing, added the o-ring to the NVA, and fixed the muff using "Ultra Black" RTV. I went with the RTV route on the advice of Clyde and Marshall. They said the JB Weld trick sometimes cracks anyway, leaving you with a missing muffler part. I was surprised to see these Thunder Tiger muffs already have an o-Ring between the two main parts! May not even need to add the RTV, but I figured what the heck. A little extra insurance never hurts.

Pic 1 Second tank running. This motor starts up really well.

Pic 2 Ahhhhh,,,,, NOW I remember what Castor did to the sides of my airplane!!! This is some thick stuff. Especially on a cold day

Pic 3 1/2 Gallon later, and several needle valve changes per the instructions. The Oil writings say it all! I stunk up the whole neighborhood with the smell of Castor! lol And who would think you could make ice slicker than Mother Nature does? Well,,,,,,,give it a good thin misty coat of Castor and watch things slip and slide!
Dont run it in the grass folks. You wont be able to stand up in the grass! LOL
