BIG NEWS FLASH!!!!!!!!!!!
I happen to have it first hand that Robert Vess FINALLY has a racer on the way! I was beginning to think he had bailed on us!

Bill Fillmo,,,,,, I mean,, "Mr Turbine Fillmore" has one on the way also Looks like we'll have a gaggle of Raiders after all.

East RC got in a shipment of 15% Omega with castor/synt blend. I need to get my butt down there soon to pick some up.

Last word was, Ken Wade is about to break motor in.

Blair has his flying already.

Joe Rafalowski SHOULD have one going by now!!!

Joe Horvath and Jim H. were ordering. Isnt that right Joe?????

Still trying to convince Austin he NEEDS to do this.
Bob Richards is lying low,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Cant figure that one out!!!

And what happened to Ken Kiesler?????????? Come On Ken!!!! Dont worry buddy. We wont let Big John burn you with that cigar when you jump on the Fun Wagon!!!!! LOLOLOL

I guess I better look into building some pylons soon. Gonna be very basic. PVC pipe with bright markings. I'll try to pick some up this week.

Hows the saying go Vess??????????? " Come On,, It'll Be Fun!!""

Hmmm, I recall that you announced your intentions just moments before impact.

LOL. Yeah, famous last words. How many mid-airs have you had when you WERE NOT trying to hit someone??

Too bad I don't still have my Finesse. I'd race you again with that.

Even though I was out flying at the field on Sunday, I did get some building time in on mine over the weekend. Looks like it should not be too difficult to build. Although, I did manage to break the aileron control rods when I put the Z-Bend in them. I guess you have to be careful with that Chinese steel.

Also, my aileron control rods that connect directly to the control surfaces are sloppy. I am told that is called "built-in expo".

lol,,,,,easy there Joe!
Just wondering. Were you using Z-Bend pliers? Also, if your refering to the end of the rod thats in the aileron itself, its not very uncommon to see some of them get a little "wiggle room" during building ,or after several flight. What I do is wick some medium CA glue down in the hole with the rod installed. Works every time.
We saw you flying Sunday. After the first big caution during the Daytona 500 we logged on to the RDRC site. Saw you and one other ( guessing it was Jim) out center runway flying what looked to be an electric.

OH, SMACK!!!

I'm sure if it is possible, he would find a way to make the Raider catch fire, too! If it were impossible, then we would have to give it to Chris H.

The best I could probably do would be to hit the floodlight on top of the shelter with one.

I don't have "real" Z-Bend pliers. I have a crazy contraption where you place the end of the wire in and then fold the tool. Looks like I really should invest 15 bucks into a "real" Z-bend plier.

I hope you guys enjoyed watching me fly on Sunday, because it was really cold and windy. I was there with only a couple other pilots and a few spectators. There was also a new recruit there, Edward Rincon. That's who you probably saw next to me. He is a full scale flight instructor that wants to get into R/C. Let's train him right.
