Great stuff Kelly. I wish that I could find such in depth info on my dad's B-24. It was a radar equipped night bomber and not too many pictures of these were allowed to get out. He's still around to tell me what he can remember though.

Well it is now official, I have my Radier on order, should be here by the end of the week!
I havn't got dad to go for it yet, but he is now building foamies so I think it is just over whelmed right now,

Not sure about the power system yet, I may just use my OS .40LA just to get it flying till I can get a TT .40.

Thats great Ken! Youre gonna love this!
Give your Dad ( aka Fun Nazi ) a little time. He'll eventually put down the bottle of foam safe CA and start building a Raider! lol

Anyhow to look at the two, they do look a lot a like.

Proper info,
Mk732 flew fighter sweeps over the D-Day beaches with No.485 Sqn. RNZAF from Selsey. Built in 1944 at Castle Bromwich. It was assigned to Plt Off H W B Patterson (who christened it Baby Bea V after his fiancee Beatrice) It was credited with a 1/4 share in the destruction of a Ju88 over the beach-head late in the afternoon on June 6 1944. This mission was flown by Flt Lt K J Macdonald.
Hope that's enough info. I'm tired of typing.
Kelly

Great videos ! Fun time guys, really enjoyed it. I told Larry that I think that was officially the most air time I have had at any event. I checked my transmitter, and the Vapor that was opened and bound for the first time after we arrived had 2 hours and 10 minutes on it !

A Brave Man
True bravery is arriving home late after a guy's night out, being assaulted by your wife with a broom, and still having the guts to ask:

"Are you still cleaning or are you flying somewhere?"

( flying makes it on topic no???? )
