ya know,,,,,,,, Normally I would get off Johns back and not ride him so hard about not making fly ins. BUT..!!!! Its becoming pretty obvious that riding his %$^ actually works!!!!!
Anyway,,, I do have to hand it to him. He DID make the FFT this year ( on Sunday) and he DID fly!
So for that, I tip my hat to him.

Now,,,lets see if he shows this Saturday! And yes, there WILL BE a T-28 gathering. In fact, we'll have one on the raffle table. Of course,,, Nelson will probably win it, but I hope that doesnt keep you guys from buying tickets! Been thinking a lot about this ticket thing. A few of you have said, " I aint buying tickets if Nelson is there, cuz he's winning everything". Then it hit me. The best way to protest that, or keep him from winning is to narrow the odds for him. Lets all buy MORE tickets The more we buy, the lower his chances!!!! LOL

Larry that is the best idea that I have heard lately. Not buying tickets is not the answer because that will hurt the host club which is the last thing in the world that I want to happen. In fact if my name is drawn for the T-28 at RDRC this weekend I am requesting ahead of time for it to be redrawn and given to someone else.

Nelson, don't ever feel that you are doing something wrong by winning. I think it's great and amazing that you you are on this streak!

Thanks for the kudos Robert but I just don't want to hurt any clubs chance of making a little money on a fly-in. I am very thankful to be on the streak and feel very blessed to have won and also to have the many friends that I have made through this wonderful hobby that we all get to share. I just had a another idea if I were to win the T-28 this weekend instead of redrawing for the plane we could have a short silent auction for the plane and that money could be added to the money for the Victory Junction Gang. Either way if I were to win it this weekend I will let the RDRC members decide which option to take.

You need to play the lottery, then you could start sponsoring all the fly-ins!

DO RAG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man,,,the LAST thing you need to do is feel guilty or pass up winning something!
There's not one person anywhere that wouldnt want to be on the streak youre on man!

In fact,,,,most of these people dont realize how much you spend on tickets. I know for a fact you dropped huge chunk of change on the FFT event. You just keep on do'n what yer do'n Do.

So it's settled. WE NEED TO BUY MORE TICKETS!

I think that Larry brings up a good point. Nelson has better odds than myself and others in these raffles because he traditionally buys more tickets than most others. It should be said that he does this out of the goodness of his heart to help whatever club he is at, not just to win stuff. I also saw him at ECRC selling a plane to a father/son team who have recently crashed a plane, Do-rag was making them a good deal to help them out. He told me "I know I could sell this for almost double what I am selling it to them for, but that isn't what this hobby is about to me". I think his "always helping out attitude" is being rewarded by the man upstairs, but that is just my opinion.
