It was fun, but it was also exhausting (especially leaving at 6:30pm on Sunday, driving straight through so I could work on Monday). I did not get to see much of the race, we were busy working the sim trailer. Friday was our setup day, which did not take long, so we took the rest of the day to go sight-seeing.

Anyone thinking of driving to NYC pulling a trailer, the tolls will eat you up! It was about $120 round trip for me just for tolls! Next time I may tell my GPS to avoid toll roads.

I was "googling" that address and found that the Cremation Society is actually at 2205 E. Millbrook, not 2005. I just thought I should pass that along in case anybody other than me was using GPS to find it.

Thanks. Yellow pages agree. I have sent the notice and corrected address out on the RDRC Google Groups.

Dateline...June 26, 2070...Greenville, North Carolina It wasn't a large crowd that Bill Zinno and Mark Lofgren of RDRC encountered at Space Cowboys' first annual All Cub Flyin, but it was an enthusiastic one. All sizes of the venerable Cubs majestically plied the skies painting a two-toned image from a palette of Cub yellow and Carolina-blue sky. No herky jerky, upside down, sideways, stick slapping manuevers were seen or encouraged. Rather the elegant Cubs entered and exited beautiful, smoothly executed manuevers that hold a time-honored reverence in the playbook of aerobatics. Age and respect still have a place in our world.

What's wrong with it ? I was hoping for a more powerful / more aerobatic T-28 basically, thought it would be great to keep in the car.....

An exception would have been made for Andy, but his plane would have seen representations of its heritage and what well-mannered rather than upstart flying looks like. A can't believe I'm writing about a plane as if its a person. Must be the heat!!
