I once talked with one of the officials at Triple Tree, they said the scorch marks from the jets will green back up within a week or so. The biggest problems (and it is not limited to jets) is the fuel overflow when filling up - that kills a smal spot of grass and it won't grow back for a while.

In reference to the gas/fuel killing the grass,we/I try to always throw a rag under the vent on my heli/airplane to keep it from killing the grass at the SWAMPS field. Ralph wants us to either do that or use a catch can while fueling. Unfortunately, some of the "participants" don't do that and there are some dead spots around and you're right,it takes some time for that grass to come back. A catch can rule is not that hard to do and it sure saves the grass. Wayne

I have one of those nice clear water bottle tanks i can see trough the canopy......i just keep an eye on it while filling and dont overflow.... not too hard to be courteous....
