Hey everyone, I had a blast today!!! Wayne Minature has a winner for sure. And not one shot was fired.

Hey Larry, I still can't beleive Mike threw Robert's jet into yours.! Shame on him.

I think that's a record for the shortest flight with mid-air. 4 feet maybe?

Had a great time, yesterday. The field is beautiful, and the guys did a heck of a lot of work to convert a piece of property from a farmer's field into that awesome flying site in just TWO MONTHS! Brandon and I closed the place down, and pulled out at dark.

We selected "Texas Steak House" in the GPS, and found ourselves back in Smithfield in about 20 minute. We didn't realize it was so close. Thanks for a great time and lots of fun!

Dude, that is a 'smokin machine' you've got. The Gecko's pics of it pouring out the white stuff are great, you could use that to spray for insects!! We need for you to mix some gnat killer into your smoke oil and come spray the RDRC field :-)

Thanks to the the WMA for allowing us to scorch some grass yesterday. Nice field guys, looking forward to going back.

Here is a video of the first jet demo at the field yesterday, its mostly my Reaction (after all it was my camera!) but there is a bit of the others too.

Got some other stuff too, will get it up soon.

Guys I would like to think everyone that came out to the flyin, we ended up with 48 registered pilots, and made some money to recoupe some of the moving expenses. I hope everyone enjoyed the new field enough to join us next year. thanks everyone....

We had a GREAT time John. Pass our appreciation on to the whole club there. You guys put on an awesome event. Just a few more trees downed and you have the perfect facility! Wish we could remove a few from our field! lol I

GREAT day at RDRC yesterday! Had a failrly good size crowd. Lots of flying. HOT!!!! I took the Falcon out yesterday and put in several flights. Also, there were a few folks getting in some buddy box time on it. Jacqui got in several minutes on it. Did a great job with it! Then Mark Lofgren and one other flyer got in a little time with it. All 3 seem to be hooked on getting a jet now! It was kinda funny. All 3 that flew it summed it up with a few words when I asked them how they liked it. " So smooth" Looks like the Little Falcon jet will be getting a lot more buddy box time in the future. Several others were disappointed they didnt get time on it. I think we can arrange that to happen!

I only allowed elevator, aileron, and rudder on the slave radio. Mark was wondering why he couldnt add throttle when he performed a roll. I kept everyone at half throttle most of the time. Afterwards, I told him he had not throttle control.. He said "THANKS!!!!! lol Wish I had known that!!!" Maybe Mark can add a few words to this. I let everyone do a roll and loop, but I was working throttle for them.

Hey! Lots to do for FFT guys and gals. Will be calling several folks this week to get commitments down on paper. You know,,,,cooks,,raffle ticket sales, FOOD, etc. Please,,,no,,,PLEASE feel free to offer your help. Especially cooking or serving food.
