Matt won't be here this weekend for the mall show. He has a girlfriend in Fayetteville he will be visiting. Her dad is going to fly to RDU in his Cirrus to pick him up.

And so the RDRC Travelling Circus were off to North Hills Mall for our annual Pre-FFT Mall show. What a blast we had!! 200% hmidity and 80 degrees brought out the best in all of us and made for an interesting day <grin> Here's some pictures of the highlights...and please. IGNORE any rumours you might hear about someone flyign a Vapour around the balloons in Chik-Fil-A !!! there is absoutely NO truth in that rumour, no matter WHAT the pictures show!!!

and a few more...the children were fascinated by the size and variety of the planes, whilst the parents were stunned at the variety of cost to get them!
almost as stunned sa the manager of chik-fil-a it seems.....

and of course, a day with the RDRC would not be complete without some flying and some singing courtesy of Dave 'bluegrass' Hedricks...he joined a band at the Farmers MArket every week and had a great time playing with them....umm..singing...ummm.... |
