Not sure what you mean by that,,,,
But its the first DOGS meet Ive missed in 4 years. I love going to that event and hate I couldnt make it this year. Im sure that freshly paved 8000 ft runway is awesome. Work ( thanks Huricane Earl) mandated I be here at good ole NCDOT today. Looks like Earl went a little easier on us than expected.
Still, a lot of us are really looking forward to attending The Tar Heel Flyers event, and like Dave said, the weather looks to be AWESOME!

Kelly,
Are you going to put retracts in it or are you going to put fixed gear on the single place canopy.

the plans are the old Ohio RC set. They are sport scale, but I will be fixing some of those faults.

As for retracts. Not at this time. At this size they will be very costly. I will go with wheel pants.

Art's planes are hard to find info on. So most people want know one model from the next.

Chipmunks are cool, and look great with fixed gear!

This first pic is of Super Chipmunk N13Y, it was single place, with retracts, that went streight back. No flaps. By far the best looking one of the two. IMHO

The second pic is of N1114V, It was tandem place, fix gear with wheel pants and DID have flaps. This is the one Great Planes modeled as a ARF. I believe this is the one Art bought off of a friend. (sorry I don't remember his name) It was not modified by Art.

Art had one for East coast shows and one for West coast shows. Don't remember which was which.

There is another one of Art's Chipmunks still flying some where in SC. N13A (last reports) It says it's registered to some one in Bladen County, Elizabethtown, NC. If you run the numbers.

I hope I got all that right.

Kelly, One of Arts planes was owned by a fellow in S.C. some years back. I think it was the retract version. The fellow that did all our airshow announcing ,Hugh Oldham , knows who and where it was . If you need further pics I may can get some from him. Looking good. LWP

N1114V was once owned by Skip Volk, a famous boat racer who also flew air shows. I think it had another owner between him and Art though. I have some photos of it somewhere when Skip owned it. The old Sig Kwik Built kit was based on it during that time period.

Thanks for the info Wayne and Jeff. These are hard planes to find info on. I believe it would be easier to find out more info on some top secret Russain plane than Art's planes LOL.
