Default Composite 2.3 help

Hey guys

Just got another 2.3 extra from composte i was wondering how do you get more throw on the control surfaces for 3D?

Do you mean on the elevator's...when i had mine i was able to get 35 deg's. but if you want more your going to have to make a slot in the trailing edge of the stab for your horn to clear.

Hope this help's

P.S. you might want to fly it first to see if you even need more then 35 deg's. you can alway's to the mod after the plane is put together.

Derek.

I have the standard throws on mine and with high rates it's so savage I fear it will break. I'm doing some mods the engine on mine to get it lighter, new muffler etc as it is a bit nose heavy.

But for 3D mate you should not need more if any than what you have.

If you really are desperate then a stronder servo (8611 or 5955) with a 1/4 inch longer servo arm will also do it but go careful.

Agree with what Kiwi says! The travel looks a bit small but it takes VERY little throw for the airplane to 3D well. You'll love the plane!
