So its right on par with WildHare's pricing (with hardware pack) and the SD 30% 260.

it would have to be way under $550 if it is going to be the "Best value on the market"

If you look at what you get with the plane(carbon tubes, quality useable hardware, etc.) and how well it is built, it is the best value on the market. It is on par quality and construction wise with comparable ARF's that are at least $100 dollars higher or more. Some other offerings don't compare quality and value wise. The prototypes have flown extemely well. Comments from everyone that have seen the planes in person have all been very positive. They are also not copies of other manufacturers planes. These are new designs, with more to come.

I wasn't aware that WildHare's planes and the SD 260 were copies......

Looking forward to seeing what else you will have to offer! Are you bringing your prototypes to the Huckfest this weekend?

I'm pretty sure that the Wild Hare's aren't copies. But I will admit if any plane on the market has the stuff and deserves the best value award it's Wild Hare. I am not yet displeased by the quality of airframe and customer service that Tom offers. But within the next few years they are expected to grow with the number of different airframes. I may hold out for a 100cc Extra or Edge. But common more imputs.

I did not mention any other specific manufacturers . All the other manufacturers other people have mentioned are fine products and supported well. The prototypes are being flown in the NC Region IMAC events. They were also on display at Toledo and the XFC this year. Other events will be attended in the near future.

Are you looking to stay in the 50cc and below range? Are you looking for an IMAC plane or a 3D plane? Do you prefer Extras, Edges, or Yaks? Based on your comment, "as a step up step down same size it doesn't matter" and then followed-up with "something that is cheap" means that the low end of every category is an option. If you want a cheap 100cc airplane, you should consider the Great Planes Matt Chapman Cap. It's $650.

dubd you are very right my range of comments has sort of dug me a hole. I don't really know. Course in any instance cheap is usually good because no one wants to spend money on something that is outrageously priced. Atleast I wouldn't. So let me rephrase my comments. I want something that is very fun to fly good for any kind of anything fun flying Imac could be a possibility for a gas airplane. And I was also thinking about the possibility of the Matt Chapman Cap. But I just want some input on other peoples opinions.

I thought about it. I don't think I'm going to buy parts for other planes that still need to be air worthy.
