Default Reading and Ephrata PA.

Hello everyone,

I am traveling to these areas several times a year and would like to find some local clubs to visit while I am in the area. I would like to be able to fly during my down times from teaching.

Any suggestions or invites would be appreciated. I would be willing to join or make a contribution for flying access several times a year.

Thanks in advance

Try contacting a young gentleman on here that goes by "Mudsurfer1234". Scott's from the Boyertown Pa area. He can help you find a place to fly.

There is also a very nice club (Tricounty Wingsnappers) in Lenhartsville Pa which is about 15 minutes north of Reading.

Hope this helps............Mark

Here's one of the fields Scott flies at. Located about 30 minutes from Reading.

http://www.scrcm.com/index.htm

I believe there is also a field near Morgantown (about 25 min from Ephrata) called Cocalico Prop busters. I can't find a site on the net though. If you are interested, I know a guy who belongs to the club and I can get some infor from him. Just P-mail me.

There is also a new club/field very near Tricounty wing snappers that's a 2.4 ghz only club (too close to the Tricounty field to use 72mhz). Not sure if you have 2.4 yet but I know a guy that flies there as well. They are new and I'm not sure if they are open to new member or not as they fly off of private property.

Lastly, there might be more in that area. Check with a local hobby shop, they probably know all the fields in the area. There is a Hobby Town in Reading just off of RT 61.

Best of luck......Mark
