One of my friends had some vibe. problems with spinners cracking and such. At his local field he had the "Motor Guy" take a look at it,they pulled the plug and regapped it,and it stopped all his troubles..

I just bought a new DA85 and I had to give my serial # to buy a Truturn spinner for it. They won't sell you one until you give it to them. There has been an update to the engine of some kind and if your engine doesn't have it you can't buy a spinner until the engine is sent in for the update. As it turned out mine already had it as it was new stock. Those with older engines might want to call DA with your serial # and see if you need the update. It addresses the problem with cracking spinners and mufflers.

The update is a new piston and cylinder head, plus they changed the timing a bit. Runs real smooth now, hardly any vibration.

Well, I sent mine in back around the end of July. Just call and give them your serial number, they will tell you.

No, that was after. The engine was to lean on low end so inverted, the engine died.
