Since the Shootout is at the beginning of the month. All of us Fanatics can go to Parker and give Peter a cheering section. It would be cool if Peter could get a clear cowl on that racer. But the shine of that DA engine could be a distraction to all those other engines.

FWIW, I remember when giant scale started, BEFORE Sachs, Zenoah, and Quadra existed. Fox .78 and OS .80 were the biggest engines around, then .60 belt reduction drives by various companies including Dubro and Byron.

A G62 on the nose of any aerobatic plane would probably require moving all the equipment into the tail to get it to balance. Warbirds need the nose weight.

TONY! You got one! Sweeeet!!! Chris, awesome video too dude!!! Please keep the experience stuff coming, and be sure to show us your install, and setups as well. Been having great luck on our end with our test unit, will have more EagleTree data, video, and flight reports as well. Currently testing Vess 26's and 26's.

And remember folks, this is a DA-85 experience thread only.

Hey Max!! there's all the details on the model in my build thread ( http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/f...tml#post268310 ). The 85 just keeps on getting stronger and stronger every time I fly it! Its surprisingly smooth for a single as well!!

Mr. Ralph, your work with Zenoah motors is a great service to us modelers, and you do the USRA Boys, and us go fast fans proud. Thanks for understanding and appreciating the theme of this thread.

Well it would come in handy if I had a plane to put it on. But that won't happen for a while. Buying a Dalton 260.
