Default Another Radiowave PAK 40% Extra 300S

Here are some picts of my practically ready to cover Raviowave 40% Extra 300S.

Notice no counterbalance on the elevators and the canopy (yeah, stole the idea from JEEUM)

Have sanded F1 to match the cowl with a cowl ring and am very happy with the results. The fuse went together very easily. Used very similar cutouts on the rudder and elevator as others have done.

Will be using the Cirrus Patty Wagstaff scheme. Dennis at Kirby's Kustom Graphics is working on the graphics package.

DA150 with Greives pipes. Pipe tunnel is there but hard to see. 4 8411's on Elev(just cus I have them), 2 8611's on each ail, and 3 8611 with SWB self adjusting tray pull/pull. Won the Hemple Helmet head in Alb so just have to paint it.

This plane is soooo close to being done it is almost all I think about.

Here are 2 picts of the fuse, stabs and rudder covered. Time to do the hatch and start getting the hemple head painted etc. Should have the rest of the supplies (batteries switches etc ) here next week. Painting the cowl will come up soon also.

Trying to get the red/yellow/and orange correct has been a real pain. Will have to use some cardboard to draw out the design on the wings.

I like the look of the gray against the black. Am curious to see how much the black bubbles over time also. Tried really hard to seal it down with a sock after the monocote was heated.

Just got off the phone with Dennis at Kirby's Kustom Graphix and the graphix should be here next week also.

Finally!!!

Forgot how much work it is to cover one of these, throw in bathroom remodel and vacation, it has taken me a while.

Here is the finished covering job.

Want to let the plane sit in the sun just a bit before applying all the decals so I can iron out the initial wrinkles, especially the black

Mount the canopy and wheel pants, install the radio/electronics and put the rest of the decals on and she will be ready to fly!!!!!!

Finally done. Here are some picts after the Maiden. This scheme is almost exactly like Patty's. Kirby's Kustom Graphics did the vinyl. DA 150 on Greives pipes with plenty of vertical at 3500ft. Fromeco switch, batteries and reg, JR dual rcvrs PCM. Ail 2 8611, Elev 2 8411's, Rudder 3 8611 with SWB self centering tray.

Now on to trimming.

Thanx.

Once I decide on the prop (2 or 3 blade) and get the CG where I want it I'll put the red/yellow swirl on the spinner to make it look really kewl
