Thank-you very much. I'm picking the plane up from the owner this weekend and will get started in a week or 2. I like the rudder bolt mod. I always like seeing individuals inventive ideas to improve a model.

There is an article at horizonhobby.com entitled "big pipes ,big power" They use a DA 150 on KS 1090 pipes. Shows the install. Very helpful article. Pipes can be purchased at desertaircraft.com
DA 170 and KS 1090 pipes going in mine! The 1090's on the 85 is insane. Same juggs being used on the new 170. Built specifically around the use of pipes. |

This is my dad's H9 Ultimate after he recovered it. It had a DA-150 with 1090 pipes on it. It was a horse.

Gettin' my H-9 Ultimate ready to go after a long "rest" in the garage...
Switched out the wheels the original owner had to H-9 Pro-Lites to save about 7 oz. of weight.......unfortunately after sitting overnight the weight of the plane flattened the tires! Any input on lighter weight tires that "won't go flat" would be most appreciated. Bill |
