That will work. I have two 5955 on my elevators. I did a mod with a center mount servo on a 3W servo tray and the other is stock locations. Works much better. I have 3 5955 on the rudder as well on a Air Wild servo tray towards the middle of the fuse. AIlerons, just double check them because I think they really need to be stiffened if using one servo. Nothing some CF could fix!

Im trying to decide on two planes, the sd 37.5 yak or the h9 ultimate. What plane would be best for 3d/ imac. Im a arealy big yak fan, but the ulti is just so impressive.

the yak is a better 3d plane overall but nothing can touch the ulti for showmanship - when the two are next to each other the people only see the ulti - not sure why - maybe it's presence

I just bought one of these today (used). There are a couple flying at our field. I flew one of them a week or so ago, and had to have one for myself. I was wondering about the aileron servo count also... I think I'll start out with 1 5955 in each one... can always add a second later.
Also, I was wondering about a 3W 157 instead of the DA-150. Is there a noticable difference between the two? I had a 3W-55CS that ran circles around my DA-50. |

First difference: It's a 3W. Second difference: Helluva lot more power. Outstanding service and support from Gerhard at www.AircraftInternational.com

yeah, trust me... if I go with the 3W, I'll definately go with AI this time around.. I didn't do that last time, and I wound up waiting for 2 months for someting Gerhard had in stock the whole time. That was just the beginning of the problems!
Hey, Vic... my wife, child and I will be flying down to San Juan PR for a week on Sunday... I don't think I'll get out to an airfield, but can you recommend some kid-friendly places to visit? |

![]() I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with a wife who "hates" modelairplanes. I also have the Ultimate, using 2x 5985 on each aileron, 2x 5955TG on the elevators, and a Seiko PS 050 on the rudder. I have 142 flights on it, flying 10 minutes pr flight. CG is a t 11-1/4 inches. Powerplant is a 3W 150CS. Great pull from hover. My friend has the same plane, he has a 3W 157 XI CS, and it is a rocket compared to mine. But mine is no snail ![]() So a 3W 170 will really pull this thing around. Offcourse, weight has a lot to say, mine is 17,6 kg, and I have 360 grams of lead in the tail. My friends plane is 19 kg. The difference in weight/horsepower, is not that big. Mine has 17,8 HP, and the 157 has 19,5HP. It's about 1 horsepower pr kg. But mine flyes better at slow speed/high alpha. Have fun

I will be going with one 8711 at inboard location. Has any one used 2 8711's on the rudder mounted in the tail via push pull? Or should I use 3, two on one side linked and one on the other, all 3 push pull.

Why don't you install a Seiko servo? Save a lot of time, and money.
