Welcome Mark. I talked with you guys at Toledo. I have your 50cc Yak. Any word on when the 50cc Pitts will be available. How did the test flights go? What mods have you made from the prototype? I look forward to your reply.

Any plans to bring back the 37% 300L in kit form? That would be sweet.

Guys,
Just to let you know, 2 weeks ago I put my second 42%'r in the air. I have no matchboxes in this one, just "Y" harness and I set it up with a 3 blade CF and MTW cans, is a rocket and very solid. I haven't play with the mixing yet, just the downline (thr/elev). Check your hinges after every flight. It's just a great plane to have.
Any suggestions for mixing are wellcome.

Thanks

As I already posted elsewhere, great plane (QB 260) and great products Only issue was with the tailwheel which promptly departed on the 5th flight Had to steal the one off of my Red Bull Edge 540 which is much more robust.

Just completed an awesome weekend IMAC competition (Intermediate) in Otterville Ontario with it. Lots of very positive comments on the plane...my flying on the other hand...well lets say MORE PRACTICE!!:7aa:

Hi,

My 2009 'big project' is a DA-85 IMAC competition plane, and I've narrowed the field to your new 98" Yak and QQ's 101" Yak. Both look like excellent choices.

Is there an AW 85cc Yak build thread similar to Reza's 101" thread? I realize the completeness of your kits and manuals 'act' like a build thread, but just asking.

Question 1: would you expand on the 2 vs. 4 aileron servo question for this size aircraft. QQ seems semi-religious on the extra servos/matchboxes (extra $400?), while Mike M's new 85cc Sukhoi (3rd choice) is a two servo wing like yours. (assuming 8611A / 8711 or equivalent @6v)

Question 2: what the difference between Slimline's two DA-85 Pitts smoke mufflers - regular 2185S and Deep Drop 2185S-B? Which would you recommend for your Yak?

Thanks
