Hey guys.....I just thought that I would share the photos and video on the thread over at RCG. The content over there was contributed by several RDRC Members and event goers.

Here's a couple of shots of the full scale fly by's on Sunday.
![]() ![]() And here's Josh (Matthews) with his cub after he scraped the top of the wing down the asphalt (and ended the flight!). Notice the black streak, caused by melting the monokote....![]()

Finally had a chance to upload some pictures.
This is the field on Friday before the rain started. A few people had setup their canopies, only to have the rain demolish a few of them. Spectator extraordinair, Mr Jimbo Cher-Bono. ![]() Mr Josh "hot-dog" Bunn handling the registration duties. This is the transmitter impound, Neal Wall in the foreground. Luckily, only the 72mhz radios were impounded, otherwise we would not have had enough space for them all. 201 registered pilots over the weekend. RDRC's own Matt "Don't run over my Mustang" Houghton. The man who spearheaded the FFT, Larry "LOL" Lewis. Dustin Hedrick about to perform his rendition of the "Funky Chicken", or "Pigs will fly part Duex". Actually, this was Sunday morning when the temps were below 60 degrees, and Dustin put the wing bags on to keep his arms warm. Jeff "turbo" Holsinger and Robert "proptologist" Vess.

More pics:
Jay Benson and Linwood Barbour giving some stick time to Linwood's son. What would normally be a "walk of shame" tuned into a "walk of fame" for RJ Gritter after his one-wing landing. There was a nasty rumor circulating early that the famed "Snap-a-saurus" sticker was jinxed, causing the wing to fail during a snap. However, instant replay of the "MomCam" showed a successful snap on takeoff, and a "successful" flight after the wing failed. Mr Snap-A-Saurus himself reviewed the tape and concluded the sticker in no way contributed to the failed wing. Hmmm, sorta like Boeing performing a crash investigation of one of its planes. It is not likely that we will ever know the REAL cause. ![]() Part of the RadioActive Showteam's act, the flying lawnmowers. The RadioActive Showteam brought their simulator trailer, a GREAT hit with the public.

HigherPlaneProductions is starting a new "FlightPass" service, which you can check out here: http://www.higherplaneproductions.com/flightpass.html
The reason I mention this here is that the upcoming Tucson Aerobatic Shootout FlightPass coverage will include a bunch of bonus videos posted the week before the event. Some of the features will include clips from the Film Fest shown at the RDRC FFT event on Saturday night, as well as some video shot during the FFT event, including some of the demo flights by QQ and others. If you missed the FFT Film Fest, or missed the FFT altogether, you might want to check out the link above for more info. Bob R.
