Plenty of room Ray. If you liked last years event, youre gonne LOVE it this year. More planes, more prizes, more action, more food, more fun than ever. Man,,,we might need to change the name of this thing to MORE for Tots!
Oh,,there is also live music on Saturday night, AND a Pig Pick'n!!! And these guys can kick it.

Carnage? Well, someone did skewer a pig out there today (Astro Hog, to be exact). Saw some TREE DEE flying as well. (the tree won!!!)

Ok....looks like we are on the way the Mall show was today and here are a few pix of the event...only 7 more days til the big one

We had a great turnout and lots of visitors and questions all day. The kids (and their parents!!) loved the simulators as well....lead to a lot of questions about what/how/where etc.

OK boys and girls, I know it's been talked about in here a bunch, but here's a release I just posted on several other forums...and wanted to share it with a few thousand more of our best friends :-)

Our huge fall Fly-For-Tots event is just around the corner (September 15-16). It is the largest fly-in in NC, and has some of the biggest names in the business. We raised $10,000 last year, had 134 registered pilots, gave away thousands of $$ in prizes, and had a BLAST in the process.

We now have _many_ THOUSANDS of $$ in prizes donated by our gratious sponsors. Have a look at the '07 sponsors page at. www.rd-rc.org . Click on "- FFT Sponsors/Prizes" in the LH menu. The list of prizes is Un-real!!

This event is open to all R/C pilots with AMA coverage. Several acres of camping and parking facilities are available, local hotels and resturants are close by, loads of local area shopping centers are all around us, etc. Come as early as 9/12 to set up and enjoy the site and flying. There is also a Saturday night film festival, cookout, and live music for your entertainment. Many vendors will be on site, as well as the HUGE RadioActive Air Shows' Flight Simulator.

The event is located just north of Zebulon, NC, in central North Carolina. Every penny from the event goes to the charity (Victory Junction Gang).

Some of the biggest names in the business will be there to talk, show, and perform as well. People like Quique Somenzini, Chris Hinson, David Hayes, Robert Vess, Jerry Smith, Elton Fairless, Jeff Holsinger, Joe Rafalowski, Jeff Foley, and more will be on site for the event. I hate to have to ask this question, but if I can only make it down for one day, which day should it be? I'd love to stick around all weekend but that just isn't gonna happen this year...
