If it flies, you need to bring it. This is going to be an amazing event. The best part is that it is all for charity. Every single dollar goes to Victory Junction Gang Camp. I think that this speaks in high regards that so many people are willing to donate, not only prizes but their time. It is not everyday that we all can get together to do what we enjoy and it all go for such a great cause.

More Updates:

CD Larry Lewis and crew have been working very hard at RDRC Field to get things ready for the big event and it's all shaping up very well. Aside from the fact that we are experiencing a severe drought in central NC and the grass is burned up pretty bad, the place looks great!

Also, Jerry Smith called me last night to express his disappointment that he won't be able to make the event now due to some issues with his elderly mother. We will miss you, Jerry! But we'll blast a bunch of "Outlaws" in your honor!

We should be rolling in late tomorrow afternoon. Hope to get there in time to get in a couple flights.

i am leaving home tommorow around noon should take about 4-5 hours, so should get there in time for some flying. Its never too late for a flying lawnmower and the mini funtanaX, probably wont put the 37% together until sat. morning. Looking forward to it.

Saturday isnt looking so good weather-wise. 50% chance of rain. So we'll see you guys Sunday!

No worry of rain dude! There is a chance, but the weather man says way south of here,,IF it happens. There is a chance on Friday, and we're actually hoping for a little. Help knock down the dust!

Things are looking good at the field, with just a few more things to get done. Lots of motor homes and campers rolled in today, with plenty more coming Friday. This event is REALLY looking to be a record breaker folks. Dont miss out on the fun!

Lots of prep work took place today at RDRC. The field is lookin good except for the grass that hasn't seen rain in months. Several motor homes and airplane trailers set up camp today as well.

Just got the latest weather report. HOPEfuly, it will rain some on Friday,,,but it's moving out early in the morn on Saturday, with cooler temps. Low 80's Saturday, and 70's on Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
