Hey guys, what a time we had!! I only made it down for Sunday but I had an awesome time. It was great to see everyone! I had a blast with my Cap for the 3 minutes of normal flight and 2 minutes of shear knifedge fun. That's an experience I'll never forget. I'm glad everyone enjoyed the show! as unexpected as that little demo was...

Thanks aydin3 and Bob for those awesome pictures of my plane in the air! Fred from Higher Plane Productions is working on a video segment of my flight/landing, and I definitely can't wait to see that!

Due to the 8 hour trip time, we had to leave before the final amount raised was announced. I just spoke to Fred Midgett and I am amazed!!! I'll leave it to one of the officials to announce, but lets just say it is nothing short of incredible! Great job guys.

Default RJ Gritter's Induction into the "Bill Hemple One-Wing-Landing Club"

On Sunday 9/16/07 RJ Gritter got an unexpected chance to duplicate a little piece of RC history. Just about everyone in the RC community has seen the video or heard the story of Bill Hempel losing a wing in flight yet managing to guide the plane on knife edge back to the runway and land the plane with only one wing. Watch and see what happens to RJ Gritter when he is suddenly faced with his own one-wing challenge at the RDRC Fly-for-Tots in Raleigh NC.

Hey Chris! I didnt get the chance to thank you again, but its was GREAT to have you on hand. LOTS and lots of folks are talk'n bout that 100cc YAK, Yellow and BLACK! WOW, what an awesome demo buddy. Youre off the hook dude. Great flying plane, and sure to be a big seller. So tell me,,,,,,,,,,,,,,how do you manage to keep all that hellium stored in the wings? Gotta be the secrete, cause that thing looks to be lighter than air! Actually folks, Chris is an awesome pilot, and put on one heck of a show, as did ALL of our demo guys. We plan to brag on ALL of them as the days go by. And not just the demo guys, but EVERYONE who attended, and helped us reach the high goals we set for the 2007 event. Although we're still counting the the dollars trickling in, and working out final numbers, I can share this much with everyone now. We set two major goals for the 2007 FFT. To have 200 registered pilots, and raise $15,000 for out selected charity. That being, the VJG.
Well,,,,we had an amazing 201 pilots !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And the way it's all looking,,,,,,,,,we'll be writing the check for approximately,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,

$17,000 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to ALL who attended, performed, and donated so kindly with cash and prizes. Hand tight folks,,there is TONS more pics and info to come. One of which is the complete list of raffle prize winners!

Oh,,,,,one more thing Chris,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, (put your ear plugs in),,,,,,,,,,,,,,

OUT LAWWWWWWWWWwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!
