Yep,

Just went and picked her up...Going to completely strip and refinish her in the same scheme as my Dalton 260. Main thing is I got my old DA150 back in the deal. That motor on the MTW cans turns a Mejlick 32x10 at a soild 5900 rpm...From 2 different tachs!

I also spoke with Bob Godfrey this morning. I'll be laying down the deposit for a 40% 300 either today, or Monday. Just trying to figure if I want to build it or have him bone it out for me...

Worm,

I love the way the airplane rolls. So, not only have I got my 37% back, I'm also putting a 40% 300 on order. I'm keeping my Dalton as well.....How is that Aerotech coming? Also, do you still need those Fromeco batts? I'm putting in another order Monday morning.Let me know if you need something....Thanks Jim

hey, dont knwo if you remember me or not, but me and my dad were at the NATs next to you with Mike M new H9 260. i know i talked some about the godfrey with you, and havent seen much of them at all. do you think when you start building it you could start a thread. im very interested in that plane for when i move up to 40%er. heard it flys pretty nice!

oh, dont know if you do any of the 3d stuff or not, but do you know if it 3d's any good? ive seen lesebergs, but he could fly anything!

Hey Brendon!

Good to hear from you. I'm moving to advanced next year so I don't have to fly against you in Intermediate. I'll do a build thread here when I get the kit, but it'll be a while before I recieve the airplane as Robert is really back logged right now. I haven't seen one fly or flown one, but according to Mr. Godfrey, the airplane is designed for IMAC and 3D/Freesyle. He says that due to the design, it will fly IMAC and Freesyle without have to move the C.G. That will really make things simple, and allow the use of one airplane for both. I know that my 37% flies IMAC great, and 3-D's really well without moving CG. I fly a airplane a little more nose heavy than alot of people as I like the airplane to feel really locked in the snaps, and not loose as a rearward CG can make an airplane feel. I'll keep you posted....

I have built a Godfrey some years ago, and it was an awesome airplane

I built is as a plans built even though it was meant to be a kit

and I liked the way the wings were jig built, the straightest wings and lightest.
