alright guys, ken huber of PAU recently came down to my flying field with the prototype 43% PAU edge. and all i could say was that THIS AIRPLANE WAS SWEEET. its got a 126" wingspan and is still in the prototype stages. but is pretty much ready to produce. the plane flys amazing and has insane slow flight characteristics. it does everything you can name. it has really good 3d cabability, while also harnessing excellent precision flying ability. but there was one problem. would people be intrested? if you are intrested in gettingg this airplane, or thinking about getting another 40% ARF to join your crew. give him an e-mail. if we can get a Sh** load of people who would want one, then he will bring in a whole shipment. if theres not a whole lot. i can talk to him and he can bring in an edge for who ever wants one.

Hey Guys,

Were working on both a 100cc and this 150cc. Wood construction, all carbon fiber tubes, and canister ready. Not sure about letting the factory do the hinging. I prefer to do it myself so it's done right. The 100cc prototype has a 105" span and weighs around 26 lbs on stock exhaust and a DA100. The 43% has a 126" inch wingspan and weighs 40lbs on canisters.

Price is TBD, were working on the hardware setup, which will be complete and high end. We are not taking orders at this time as we are still testing the prototypes and making sure every is right the first time. TBH, not sure if there is even a strong interest in large Edges right now but I sure love them. I'll post some more pictures tonight once I get a hold of my photo guy.

Not to be a smart a$$ here, but if they can glue the firewall in properly why couldn't they glue the hinges in properly?

Jeff,

It's just me, I prefer to do it myself. This very well might get done pre-hinged. I can inspect a firewall before assembly. Hinges are a little more difficult to do so IMO.

I'd be interested depending on color scheme and pricing. I'd prefer, as long as the builder does a good job, to have the hinges installed, even canopy installed if they allow access to put a man in place. Again though, pricing and scheme would be most important to me.
