I have noticed that several people have avatar's that are made up of multiple pictures that change ever second or so. How do you do this.

You can make a Gif in Adobe Image ready as well. There use to be some free Gif editors floating around on the web but the last time I went looking for one I couldn't find one to download. You have to have your pics sized to the same pixel dimensions (like 100 X 100 pixels)using any photo editing software. When you import them into a Gif animator software you simply adjust how many seconds each one shows and save the thing as a gif. If someone posts a link to a shareware gif animator you are all set... unfortunately I don't know of one. I made mine from an existing Gif of Jim Carrey (as crazy cousin Larry) and then edited in the plane and Tx with photoshop. If you are doing something simple, as in 4-6 pics of different planes, it's fairly straight forward. Adobe Image Ready is sort of difficult to navigate if you don't have any Photoshop experience.

I use Adobe Image ready. It can be a pain at first to learn how to get the desired result but after a while it isn't too bad to use. You can switch back and forth between Image Ready and photo shop to make changes. In Image ready it is all done with layers and turning the layers off and on. You can make some great animations that way.
