The "barbed wire" is done like old school pin striping on a car...by hand with a paint brush of some sort. Tony is a real craftsman and the atention to detail is something to behold!

Go into the Leading Edge forums. I did an article on painting checkerboard and pinstripping that should explain how I do it. Kevin, You got it ready to fly yet? |

Well it took me a few days longer then I hoped but it is done! I had it out at the field last night but had to scrap the test flight...battery/motor issues
 . Anyway, Duane (Dizzane) took a ton of photos which I will post as he converts them to a little lower res for me. Here is the first...sory for my ugly a$$ sitting behind it.

DA 150 Greeves Pipes KS Stainless Flex Headers (2) 8711's per aileron (2) 8711's on rudder (1) 8711 per elevator Power Box Champion Power Box RRS Module Power Box Digi Switch on Ignition 5600 miAh TBM Li-Ions x3 (2) Spektrum Receivers Now, a few more pictures....

I weighed the bits before assembly and came up with a total weight of less than 36 lbs. I'm sure I missed some stuff but I don't have a means to accurately weigh it all assembled.
The only lightening that Tony did was cutouts in the rudder which is necessary to get them to balance with pipes.
