With just the rudder cut out and the basic kit it will weigh about 37-38 lbs. If you are using the CF gear and with the new 8711's, 8 in total... it probably is just about 37 lbs.

My 260 is full weight... only lightning I did was for the rudder, as I wanted to see what an un modded kit weighed, and I'm running 12 8611A's. Mine is 38.5 lbs with the stock alum. gear. I know I could easliy pull 2 lbs out of it.

Beautiful ship! I'm curious about the total length of the 300 - tip of spinner to rear of rudder. The Wingspan is shown in the website but not the length. Got a number?

Not to hijack a year old thread but I thought I would share some pics of the Dalton 300 I'm building, Tony's kits are awesome! I apologize for the mess in my Garage, I've been very busy working and havent had time to clean up,
