Definetly check with Wildhare. They have excellent package deals. I'm building the 33% Edge 540 right now and it is an awesome ARF. The only easier way to get into gassers is to cut one under the covers and pull the sheets over your head
Good luck.Jay |

If your budget is only 2000 then you can get a Wild Hare up and running and still have some money left over.
You can get the Sukhoi for 999 with motor prop spinner hardware and decals. Or plane 429 with motor 399. Just look around on the website. They'll have more information.

If there is someone in your area flying gassers get in contact with them and get help. If not read up on them through books or this site. A used model that is already set up for you from a reliable source is a great way to start. There are a lot of different ways to set them up in regards to equipment that are basically personal choices. Why buy a lot of new stuff if you do not know you will like it. Talk to others and see what they are flying and using and why. There are a lot of good models out there, most all good - comes down to personal choice again in terms of liking the model, the color scheme (this is very important to me), and the price.
I learned a lot from a book on gassers from Don's Hobby Shop (forget the web address, google it).
